Senate Bill No. 2749: An Act Regulating the Use of Plastic Bags

This bill is in line with advocacy of the State in ensuring the people’s right to a balanced and healthful ecology in accord with the rhythm and harmony of nature. This bill proposes to regulate the use of plastic materials in the country in order to mitigate l and-based sources of pollution. It advocates reusable, biodegradable bags made of washable materials.
