Week 102: June 11 – 17, 2018

On 13 June 2018, BBM received a Letter from the COMELEC reiterating its request for the temporary custody of fifty-six (56) ballot boxes and other election-related documents from Calatagan, Batangas due to the pending appeal of Pantoja vs. Palacio.

On 13 June 2018, BBM received a Letter from the COMELEC reiterating its request for the temporary custody of two (2) ballot boxes and other election-related documents from South Upi, Maguindanao due to to the pending appeal of Platon vs. Insular.

On 14 June 2018, BBM received a Notice from the COMELEC wherein it ordered the inventory and subsequent delivery to the PET of twenty-five (25) ballot boxes and other election-related documents from Siruma, Camarines Sur on 19 June 2018.

On 14 June 2018, BBM received a Notice from the COMELEC regarding the transfer of certain Secure Digital (SD) cards which were used during the May 2016 elections.

After 102 weeks (or roughly 718 days) :

• The PET still has to complete the manual recount of votes from Camarines Sur

** there are ballot boxes remaining from 368 clustered precincts at the HRET due to the election protest of Luis R. Villafuerte vs. Gabriel H. Bordado

** there are ballot boxes remaining from 25 clustered precincts at the RTC due to the election protest of Carina Ramos-Polinga vs Sandy Ondis

** there are ballot boxes remaining from 10 clustered precincts at the COMELEC – RMAT from the municipalities of Buhi, Garchitorena, Iriga City, Minalabac, Nabua, Presentacion, Ragay and Tigaon

• The PET has begun the manual recount of votes from Iloilo
[per undertaking # 11 of 21]

After Camarines Sur & Iloilo, the remaining “pilot province” is Negros Oriental
