Vote-rich Cavite, Laguna governors, other local execs assure BBM of landslide victory

THE chief executives of Cavite and Laguna, both listed as among the most vote-rich provinces in the country had assured presidential frontrunner former Sen. Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr., of landslide victory in the coming May 9, 2022 national polls.

Cavite Gov. Jonvic Remulla and Laguna Gov. Ramil Hernandez made the announcement during a meeting with Marcos and other chief executives from different provinces in the country at the BBM headquarters in Mandaluyong City on Thursday.

“Based on our projections he (Marcos) will get 1.2 million votes sa Cavite. As per our latest survey dated April 24,” Remulla divulged.

Remulla added Leni Robredo will only get a low 400, 000 votes in their province.

“Im 99 percent sure na ganun ang mangyayari,” Remulla assured.

For his part, Hernandez revealed that Marcos will get at least 60 percent of the Laguna voting population in the upcoming elections.

“Sa kalkulasyon ko more or less 60 percent ang makukuha niyang boto sa Laguna. Meron akong regular survey sa amin e, minsan 57 percent, minsan 60 minsan 61 percent,” Hernandez noted.

Based on Commission on Elections (Comelec) records, Cebu retained the top spot in the list of most vote-rich provinces with around 3.288 million registered voters

Cavite, Pangasinan and Laguna are still ranked second to fourth while Region 4-A (Calabarzon) has the most number of voters among Philippine regions with 9.193 million voters in the 2022 elections.

Aside from Remulla and Hernandez, also present during the meeting were Governors Melchor Diclas, of Benguet; Dale Corvera, Agusan del Norte; Albert Raymond Garcia, Bataan; Roberto Uy, Zamboanga del Norte; Zaldy Villa, Siquijor; Rhodora Cadiao, Antique; Damian Mercado, Southern Leyte; Roel Degamo, Negros Oriental and Dax Cua, of Quirino.

The governors assured Marcos of overwhelming victory as they vowed to protect his votes in their respective provinces.

Gov. Cadiao said they will surprise Marcos in Antique in the upcoming elections.

“We will give him a surprise. Im sure he will be very happy after the elections. It’s a gift from Antiqueños. We are waiting for change and I think this is it,” Cadiao said

“Mananalo si BBM I assure you that. Siguro at a minimum of 59 percent. I’m confident na mananalo si BBM sa amin,” Gov. Degamo, for his part, said.

Meanwhile, Gov. Uy of Zamboange del Norte belied reports that he is supporting the candidacy of Robredo after several photos surfaced that he was with the vice president.

“Yung mga picture namin ng mga pari at ni Leni lagi nilang pinopost sa plaza pero wag kayo maniwala diyan kasi eleksyon ngayon. 100 percent kay BBM kami,” Gov. Uy insisted.

For his part, Gov. Mercado of Southern Leyte declared that their province is “Marcos country” even as his opponent in politics is supporting Marcos.

“Southern Leyte is BBM country and we can assure of 90 percent of the votes for BBM, because BBM is also from Leyte. Even kalaban namin nag-support kay BBM,” Gov. Mercado noted.

After the meeting with the governors, Marcos also met with local officials of Zamboanga del Norte and Surigao del Norte in separate meetings also at the BBM headquarters in Mandaluyong.

Mga gobernador ng Laguna, Cavite, iba pang  lalawigan tiniyak ang landslide win ni BBM

ILANG araw bago ang halalan, lalo pang tumibay ang tsansa ni presidential frontrunner at dating Sen. Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos na manalo matapos tiyakin ng mga gobernador ng mga pinaka vote- rich na lalawigan sa bansa ang kanyang tagumpay.

Sa isang pulong sa BBM Headquarters sa Mandaluyong ay siniguro nina Gob. Jonvic Remulla ng Cavite at Ramil Hernandez ng Laguna, kasama ng iba pang mga gobernador na titiyakin nila ang kanyang panalo sa kanilang mga lalawigan.

Kapwa nasa talaan ng may  pinakamaraming botante sa mga probinsya sa buong  bansa ang Laguna at Cavite.

Idinagdag pa ni Remulla na base rin sa kanilang mga survey, makakakuha lamang si Leni Robredo ng 400, 000 boto.

Ayon naman kay Hernandez makakakuha si Marcos ng 60 porsyento sa kanilang mga botante sa probinsya sa darating na halalan.

Ayon sa record ng Commission on Elections (Comelec), nananatili ang Cebu na nangunguna sa unang pwesto na may pinakamaraming botante sa mga probinsya sa bansa na mayroong 3.288 milyong registered voters.

Ang Cavite, Pangasinan at Laguna ay nasa ikalawa hanggang pang apat na pwesto habang ang Region 4-A (Calabarzon) ang may pinakamaraming botante naman sa rehiyon sa bansa na mayroong 9.193 milyong botante.

Bukod kay Remulla at Hernandez, dumalo rin sa pulong sina Govs. Melchor Diclas ng Benguet; Dale Corvera, Agusan del Norte; Albert Raymond Garcia, Bataan; Roberto Uy, Zamboanga del Norte; Zaldy Villa, Siquijor; Rhodora Cadiao, Antique; Damian Mercado, Southern Leyte; Roel Degamo, Negros Oriental at Dax Cua ng Quirino.

Bukod sa solidong suporta, siniguro ng mga gobernador na poprotektahan din nila ang boto ni MARCOS sa kanilang mga probinsya.

Ani Gov. Cadiao gugulatin nila si Marcos sa darating na halalan.

“We will give him a surprise. I'm sure he will be very happy after the elections. It’s a gift from Antiqueños. We are waiting for change and I think this is it,” ani Cadiao.

“Mananalo si BBM I assure you that. Siguro at a minimum of 59 percent. I'm confident na mananalo si BBM sa amin,” ayon naman kay Gov. Degamo.

Samantala, pinabulaanan naman ni Gov. Uy ng Zamboanga del Norte na sinusuportahan niya si Robredo matapos maglabasan ang mga larawan na kasama niya ang pangalawang pangulo.

“Yung mga picture namin ng mga pari at ni Leni lagi nilang pinopost sa plaza pero huwag kayo maniwala diyan kasi eleksyon ngayon. 100 percent kay BBM kami,” paliwanag ni Gov. Uy.

Sinabi naman ni Gov. Mercado ng Southern Leyte na ang kanilang probinsya ay isang “Marcos country” matapos magsama-sama maging ang magkakalaban sa pulitika.

“Southern Leyte is BBM country and we can assure of 90 percent of the votes for BBM, because BBM is also from Leyte. Even kalaban namin nag-support kay BBM,” ayon kay Gov. Mercado.

Matapos ang pulong sa mga lider ng mga nasabing probinsya, sunod na nakipagpulong si Marcos sa mga lokal na opisyal ng Zamboanga del Norte at Surigao del Norte na ginawa rin sa BBM headquarters sa Mandaluyong.
