The 1 Maharlika Movement in a statement sent to The Manila Times has invited former senator Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. to a Tagaytay proclamation rally in support of his candidacy for President of the Philippines in the 2022 elections.

Shariff Ibrahim Albani, chairman of 1 Maharlika Movement, said in the name of peace and solidarity the movement in cooperation with the Workers' and Peasants' Party also known as Labor Party Philippines has formally requested the presence of Marcos and his team at the proclamation rally to be held at Lake Hotel Tagaytay on Km. 58, Barangay General Emilio Aguinaldo along the highway in Tagaytay, Cavite, on September 26 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

A supposedly legitimate concern of 1 Maharlika Movement was for Marcos to deliver his platform of government to Filipinos within an eight-hour program.

The 1 Maharlika Movement chairman said the proclamation rally is going to be a community event that will be covered live by various media outfits and where the former senator can have the opportunity to interact with several leaders and other organizations, including Political League of the Philippines, Marcos Loyalists, 5 Pillars of Criminal Justice System and World Philosophical Forum Philippines.

Albani also said the 1 Maharlika Movement, as the lead organizer, guarantees the government's minimum health standards, guidelines and protocols will be observed during the Tagaytay rally.

He assured the 1 Maharlika Movement is committed to helping Marcos in fulfilling his dream to be the next President of the Philippines and to make the Philippines great again.
