THE Marcos-founded political party, Kilusang Bagong Lipunan (KBL), is back and it has named none other than former senator Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. as its presidential candidate in the upcoming 2022 national elections.

In an event organized by lawyer Larry Gadon, the KBL, which was founded by the late president Ferdinand Marcos, nominated his son as its standard bearer.

The event t the Thunderbird Resorts and Casino in Binangonan, Rizal was attended by some 200 KBL members, Marcos loyalists and supporters.

In a video message, the young Marcos thanked KBL and his supporters for the trust and confidence bestowed upon him but said he cannot give an immediate response to his nomination as he is still finalizing his plans on what national position he will run in in 2022.

He, however, assured the party that he will very soon make an announcement.
