Former senator Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. and his running mate, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio, were the top picks for president and vice president respectively in the National Capital Region (NCR) in the survey conducted by Publicus Asia.

The poll conducted from April 8 to 13 and released on Monday showed that Marcos got the support of 51.6 percent of 1,625 respondents.

Vice President Maria Leonor "Leni" Robredo came in second place with 24.3 percent of the presidential vote share, followed by Manila Mayor Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso at 9.8 percent.

Trailing them were Senator Panfilo "Ping" Lacson with 4.2 percent, Senator Emmanuel "Manny" Pacquiao, 1.8 percent, Leodegario "Ka Leody" De Guzman, 1 percent, Ernesto "Ernie" Abella, 0.9 percent and Norberto Gonzales, 0.1 percent.

Only 5.7 percent of the respondents said they have not yet decided who they will vote for on May 9.

In the vice presidential race, Duterte-Carpio led with 51.3 percent of the respondents choosing her.

She was followed by Sen. Francis "Kiko" Pangilinan with 15.4 percent, Senate President Vicente Sotto III with 11.6 percent, Dr. Willie Ong, 11.4 percent, former Manila mayor Lito Atienza, 1.4 percent and Walden Bello, 0.9 percent.

The survey sample was drawn from a market research maintained by PureSpectrum, a US-based panel marketplace with multinational presence.

The final survey research panel was restricted to registered voters.

A total of 100 respondents were taken from each of the 15 cities in the NCR, except San Juan with 76 samples and the lone municipality of Pateros with 49 respondents. Minor adjustments were made in the sampling in Pateros and San Juan given its smaller representation in the panel marketplace of PureSpectrum.

The survey has a margin of error of +/- 3%.
