THREE grand rallies this week will cap the campaign for the May 9 elections of the UniTeam of presidential candidate Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. and his running mate Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio, the Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats said on Sunday.

On May 3, the duo will have a miting de avance at the Guimbal Football Field in Guimbal, Iloilo.

A similar event will be held on May 5 at the City Hall grounds of Tagum City in Davao del Norte.

The final rally will be on May 7, the last campaign day, at Block 7, fronting Solaire in Parañaque City.

"Sa nalalapit na pagtatapos ng ating kampanya, sama-sama nating ipadama at ipakita ang tunay na pagkakaisa ng ating samahan tungo sa tagumpay (As our campaign draws to a close, let us together feel and show the true unity towards success)," the party said on Facebook.

Marcos' spokesman and chief of staff Vic Rodriguez said in a message to The Manila Times that the miting de avance will symbolize the unity of the Filipino people in Luzon, the Visayas, and Mindanao as aspired by Marcos and Duterte-Carpio themselves.

"[This was] a way of BBM-SARA UniTeam in honoring and thanking all the volunteers and supporters who have joined us and have been steadfast in the journey towards our collective future — a more peaceful, robust and united Philippines," Rodriguez said.

Having these events at different venues and dates will allow supporters of the UniTeam tandem to participate and be part of the rallies.

Over the weekend, Marcos and Duterte-Carpio, who are consistent frontrunners in surveys, were greeted by hundreds of thousands of supporters during their sortie in San Fernando City, Pampanga.

The huge crowd came from various parts of the province, and was led by former president Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, Gov. Dennis "Delta" Pineda and Vice Gov. Lilia Pineda.

Duterte-Carpio vowed that the UniTeam will exert all efforts to deliver victory.

Marcos encouraged everyone to stay the course, be united and remain vigilant until their victory is attained.

"Tama yan isigaw ninyo na para marinig ng buong Pilipinas na dito sa Pampanga, buo at solid ang suporta sa likod ng tambalang Marcos at Duterte (Shout it out for the whole Philippines to hear that there is solid support behind Marcos and Duterte)," he said.
