Presidential aspirant Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. checked on Bohol’s situation after the province was ravaged by typhoon Odette.

Typhoon Odette battered the province sending more than 60,000 people homeless and plunging the province into darkness after the power has yet to be restored, as of this writing.

Marcos, known by his initials BBM, arrived in the province on Dec. 19, 2021, according to Cylwin Bomediano, the chairman of the Basta Bol-anon Marcos-Sara (BBMS) movement.

Bomediano said Marcos personally turned over his donation of relief goods to the Provincial Government of Bohol (PGBh) represented by Vice Gov. Rene Relampagos at the Bohol Panglao International Airport (BPIA).

The presidential aspirant then proceeded to the residence of second district Cong. Erico Aristotle Aumentado, where the former also turned over some relief goods and financial aid to be given to typhoon-stricken victims of Bohol, Bomediano reported in his Facebook account.

The tandem of Marcos and Davao City mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio is known as the UNITEAM, already dispatched 100 personnel from the Davao Central 911 to conduct rescue and clearing operations in various areas in the province badly hit by the typhoon.
