Marcos Jr. said Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Governor Benjamin Diokno will serve as the secretary of the Department of Finance.
Diokno has headed the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) since 2016 before he was appointed as the BSP chief following the death of Governor Nestor Espenilla Jr. in 2019.
Succeeding Diokno is Monetary Board member Felipe Medalla.
Medalla has been with the board since July 2011 under the administration of late President Benigno Aquino III.
