Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” R. Marcos, Jr. has called on his province mates in Ilocos Norte to unite for the continued progress of the province.
Marcos made the call as he endorsed the “One Ilocos Norte” team led by reelectionist Governor Imee Marcos, his elder sister, to his provincemates for the forthcoming May 13 elections.
The senator, on board on a truck, accompanied by Gov. Imee Marcos led the team in a three-day motorcade campaign that traversed town after town, which started Tuesday (April 2), where he was met with cheers and approval by the people who lined up the streets and roads where the long convoy of vehicles passed.
Braving the heat of the sun, Marcos, together with the reelectionist governor and candidates for provincial board down to councilors, completed the 3-day, 15-town leg motorcade tirelessly waving and shaking hands with the people who likewise endured the summer heat. Some even raised old black and white framed pictures of the senator while cheering for his visit.
