Reform Party throws support behind BBM-Sara UniTeam

24 March 2022

A FEW days after the ruling PDP-Laban's declaration of support to the candidacy of presidential frontrunner Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos, Jr., and running-mate Inday Sara Duterte, their chances of winning in the scheduled May 9 elections were further enhanced after the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) and Reform Party (RP) formally entered into an alliance on Wednesday.

In a simple ceremony at the BBM Headquarters in Mandaluyong City, PFP Secretary General Thompson Lantion and RP president James Layug led the signing of an agreement to be an ally in advancing the BBM-Sara UniTeam.

Layug said that among all the current presidential candidates, only BBM-Sara UniTeam has a sincere response for continuity, sustainability and predictability in the successful programs of the Duterte administration.

He specifically cited that the UniTeam has committed to continue the incumbent government’s Build, Build, Build program, digital infrastructure, war against drugs, criminality and corruption.

For Lantion, the Reform Party's alliance is significant because, as Marcos has instructed, unity is the key to the country's development.

FILIPINO VERSION

PANALO NINA BBM AT SARA LALO PANG NATIYAK; ALYANSANG PFP AT REFORM PARTY NILAGDAAN
