YAHOO_NEWSNot bad but not excellent either.

This was the rating of the majority of those asked to react on President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III’s second State of the Nation Address.

Former president Joseph Estrada gave Aquino a “passing” rate of six out of ten.

“Magaling, magaling. Lahat maganda. Ang mga nagkasala talagang dapat maparusahan,” Estrada said, although he noted that he felt Aquino missed updating the country about Peace and Order.

But Estrada also agrees with Aquino’s statement on the country’s claim in the West Philippine Sea.

“Hindi nga ba ang kinakanta natin ‘Kung may mangaapi, ang mamatay ng dahil sa’yo,” Estrada told reporters.

Although he said Aquino needs more time, he believes the President is competent enough.

Former deputy presidential spokesman and now Bacolod Representative Anthony Golez acknowledged there was less bashing against Pampanga Representative Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.

“May mga pagpuna man sa administrasyon, mas kumonte,” said Golez.

Boxing champ and Sarangani Representative Manny Pacquiao said he is satisfied with Aquino’s SONA.

“Okay naman, para sa akin pasado. Nabanggit naman niya lahat. Yung inaasahan ko maaccomplish hindi pa lahat pero naiintindihan ko siya. May limang taon pa siya,” Pacquiao told reporters.

For Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. Aquino’s numbers were good although he lacked economic blueprint.

“What I had been hoping for and anticipating was a blueprint and a plan for the economy,” said Marcos.

“He reported claims of achievement but we still need to have a strategic plan for creation of jobs in the country,” he said.

Senator Loren Legarda meanwhile said Aquino’s SONA lacked the following: education, agriculture, and climate change.

For Bayan Muna Partylist Representative Teddy Casino, Aquino’s SONA missed out lacked the Freedom of Information (FOI) Bill.

“Mukhang hindi pa umuusad mula nung isang taon. Sa FOI act wala sinabi which is disappointing,” said Casino.
