Bersyon sa Filipino.

Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” R. Marcos, Jr. today expressed his gratitude to students of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) after he emerged as the top choice in their online poll for vice presidential candidate in the 2016 election.

The result of the online poll was published today in PUP Official Fan Profile Facebook page.

“PUP students are known for their active interest and participation in pressing social and political issues. To learn that I am their choice for the next vice president certainly gives additional encouragement in my pursuing my mission to serve our people,” said Marcos.

“With all humility, I am grateful for their trust and confidence,” he added.

Marcos believes the PUP poll is an indication that the youth sector recognizes his efforts, such as the SK Reform Bill (SB 2041), to give them greater empowerment in addressing their own issues and participating in nation-building. The SK Reform Bill was recently approved by the bicameral conference committee.
