Sen. Bongbong Marcos Celebrates Christmas with Senate Employees and Staff Members
Senator Bongbong Marcos partied left and right at the separate Christmas celebrations of the Senate employees and of his own Senate staff.
Senate annual General Assembly
Right after the closing of the regular Senate session of 2010, Senator Bongbong joined the festivities of the annual Senate General Assemby/Christmas party held on 15 December 2010, with fellow early birds Senators Honasan and Sotto. Senator Bongbong begged to be the first to give his Holiday greetings and personally thank the Senate employees for their indispensable help and guidance to the newbie Senator. Senator Bongbong then proceeded to chip in and raffle off his share in the prize bag, to the boisterous cheers of Senate employees at the jam-packed SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.
The Senate Christmas party, which was hosted by Ms. Soledad Tioseco of the Senate Human Resources Management Services (HRMS), featured a contest of Christmas-themed performances from Senate employees who were organized into groups, of which the Office of the Sergeant-at-Arms (OSAA) emerged as the winner. The OSAA continued its lucky streak, as one of its staff members also eventually went home with the coveted top cash prize, besting the field of other 40 lucky winners.
O/S Christmas party
The next day, Senator Bongbong and his family hosted the first-ever Christmas celebration of his Senate staff (“O/S”) at an intimate party held in the City of San Juan. The Senator found the occasion to again thank his staff for their service, support and loyalty. The staff members were treated to lots of prizes and freebies from the good Senator, who was in turn then treated to wacky–and even unsightly–skits and other antics from his staff members and guests.
