Politiko – Bongbong challenges critics to a duel of the mind…
Sen. Ferdinand Marcos Jr challenged on Monday his critics to a debate regarding issues that matter to the Filipino people.
Marcos, who is vying for vice-president in next year’s polls, is baffled why the issues of being a scion of the late dictator are now being brought up by his critics, making it as an election issue.
Marcos said he would not back out from any discussion about being a Marcos but he is interested in the more pressing agenda which include solutions to traffic, slow-paced internet and the deteriorating state of the Metro Railway Transit (MRT).
“Dapat unahin natin ang mga isyu na talagang iniisip at kailangan ng ating mga mamayan araw-araw,” he said this morning when interviewed live in “Umagang Kay Ganda” television program.
He also expressed concern about illegal drugs, high prices, graft and corruption, and joblessness. He said his family background is an issue only to politicians and certain groups.
