Former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. continues in his crusade to have hybrid elections conducted in the Philippines.
The Ilocano politiko once again promoted what he argues are the benefits of holding hybrid polls as he encouraged Filipinos to register to vote on Monday, February 8.
Marcos argued more young Filipinous would be enticed to register if they can fully trust the electoral system
“Ang kumpiyansa ng mamamayan sa isang matibay na sistema ang kinakailangan upang mahikayat ang kabataan na maging bahagi ng prosesong pangdemokrasyang ito. #HybridElections2022,” said the former senator.
Marcos’ older sister and Senator Imee Marcos already filed a bill calling for the conduct of hybrid elections in 2022.
