COMELEC Commissioner Rowena Guanzon assured netizens that there will be ample time for voter registration which was moved to August 31.
She responded to a concerned netizen on Twitter:
“There will be sufficient time for voter registration . Election officers will conduct registration in barangay as and government colleges when it is safe.”
Hi @COMELEC @jabjimenez @rowena_guanzon
I hope that even with these suspensions, you still give ample time for voter registration before the elections and in the soonest possible time. I hope we shouldn’t have to choose between our rights to suffrage and to health. Thank you! https://t.co/PZzgR04Kng
