Judging from the wide support and warm reception, House Majority Leader and Leyte Rep. Ferdinand Martin Romualdez has no doubt that presidential candidate Ferdinand Marcos Jr., and vice presidential aspirant Sara Duterte are “headed for a landslide win on May 9.”
Romualdez made the statement on Monday, the last day of the Mahalin Natin and Pilipinas Ride (MNPR) initiated by Duterte to bring the message of unity to different provinces of the country.
“This has been an enormously successful journey, for which I thank all my incumbent and former colleagues in the House, the local officials, our supporters, and the people from all walks of life who welcomed and received us. We extend to you our heartfelt gratitude,” said Romualdez, one of the two campaign managers of Duterte.
The MNPR started in Davao City on February 1 and will also end there today, February 28. Duterte began the last day of MNPR at Cotabato State University.
During her journey, Duterte also led the inauguration of headquarters of various support groups in different provinces.
Aside from local officials, Duterte was also endorsed by Kingdom of Jesus Christ leader Pastor Apollo Quiboloy and El Shaddai leader Bro. Mike Velarde.
