Senatorial candidate Robin Padilla has called on his Muslim brothers to support presidential candidate Ferdinand Marcos Jr., and vice presidential aspirant Sara Duterte.

During his speech at the Manila Golden Mosque and Cultural Center in Quiapo, Manila last Saturday, Padilla narrated that he had studied Islam and the history of Bangsamoro.

Padilla said Mrs. Marcos flew to the Libyan capital of Tripoli.

The actor added that the agreement includes the establishment of two autonomous regions in Muslim Mindanao but so far only one has been established—the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).

Muslim leader Fadel Sheik, president of the Grand Imam of Golden Mosque, endorsed the Marcos-Duterte tandem.

For her part, Duterte expressed gratitude for the support and urged them to join them in their call for unity.
