The UniTeam of presidential aspirant Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and his running mate Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte has brought aid to the victims of super typhoon Odette in various provinces.
Marcos and House Majority Leader and Leyte Rep. Ferdinand Martin Romualdez turned over P2 million cash assistance and P2.5 million worth of relief goods to Gov. Damian Mercado around 9:30 am today, December 19.
Romualdez, president of Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats, is the campaign manager of Duterte.
“We would like to assure our kababayans that help is available. We will work tirelessly until we ensure that all those who need assistance would be given the same,” Romualdez said.
Romualdez said the country has survived worse typhoons, including Super Typhoon Yolanda before, and “we are currently enduring the pandemic so I am confident that if we continue to work hand-in-hand, we will get through this
Around 11 am, Marcos and Romualdez arrived at Agusan del Norte to turned over to Butuan City Mayor Ronnie Vicente Lagnada and Vice Mayor Jose “Joboy” Aquino II P2 million financial assistance and P5 million worth of relief goods from UniTeam.
The UniTeam is also scheduled to visit Bohol and Cebu provinces today.
