Former Murcia mayor Esteban Coscolluela assured a landslide win for the tandem of presidential bet Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and his running mate, Sara Duterte in Negros Occidental.
Coscolluela issued the remark after forme governor Rafael Coscolluela released a survey result commissioned by the Robredo People’s Council to the media.
The poll showed VP Leni being comfortably ahead with 41 percent against 30 percent of Marcos in the province.
Esteban, provincial spokesman for the Marcos-Duterte tandem in the province, said aside from the 28 mayors in Negros Occidental, several organizations like youth, drivers, LGBTQ, fisherfolks, urban poor, among others have already pledged support for Marcos Jr.
“They have realized that among the presidential aspirants, BBM showed sincerity in his aim to uplift our lives, based on the platform of government that he laid down,” he claimed.
The ex-mayor also debunked claims of harassments to supporters of other presidential candidates, saying that no records of complaints have been lodged in police stations, especially in the fourth district.
Marcos Jr. will win in honest and peaceful elections, said Esteban.
