12 April 2010

Ilocos Norte representative and Nacionalista Party (NP) senatorial candidate Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. on Thursday said that the political machinery of the NP continues to grow enthusiastically stronger in Zamboanga as the May 10 elections draw nearer.

In a meeting with local press last April 8, 2010; Marcos said that local NP candidates in the Mindanao area have already started full mobilization as the polls swiftly approach.

"We are happy that Zamboanga can now be added to the plus column of the long list of key areas where we can expect full support," Marcos said.

The congressman from the north also visited key areas in Zamboanga including Ozamiz City and Pagadian City.

"Based from what I have seen during my meetings with our local leaders, I can safely say that things are in full motion to ensure landslide win for NP here," Bongbong added.

During his visit to Zamboanga, Bongbong was accompanied by Congressman Erbie Fabian. He also met with Zamboanga City Mayor Celso Lobregat during the inauguration and blessing of a local water system project in the area.
