SENATOR Ferdinand “Bongbong” R. Marcos Jr. is set to meet students, local officials, and businessmen of Tarlac to discuss various local and national issues on Wednesday.
Marcos will visit the Concepcion Holy College headed by its president Raquel Sta. Ines in San Nicolas, Concepcion. He will be the speaker and guest of honor at the Youth Forum, where he will speak on matters affecting students and the youth, and participate in a question and answer portion with the students.
Marcos will then proceed to Tarlac Provincial Capitol in Tarlac City where he will be welcomed by provincial officials led by Governor Victor Yap, Vice Governor Kit Cojuangco, Rep. Susan Yap, provincial board members, and several municipal mayors.
Marcos will have a dialogue with the officials and the Tarlac Chamber of Commerce led by Richmond Lim to discuss ways and strategies on how the provincial government and the private sector can cooperate further to bring more progress to the province.
Marcos, as chairman of the Senate Committee on Local Government, has been holding consultations with local government officials to seek their opinions on several legislative proposals affecting local government units.
