The people of Muntinlupa and Las Piñas City showed their support for presidential candidate Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and vice presidential candidate Sara Duterte-Carpio when they held sorties in the two cities.
From Daang-Hari Road in Muntinlupa City until the end of the caravan in Las Piñas, supporters of the tandem lined up to express their support.
Personnel of the Las Piñas Doctors Hospital also approached the caravan to shake hands with Marcos.
The caravan ended at The Tent in Las Piñas, owned by the Villar family, where the UniTeam grand rally was held.
Senatorial candidate Mark Villar expressed his gratitude to the people of Las Piñas, who left their homes just to see Marcos.
“Your love for UniTeam is great. The support you have shown to our next president [Marcos] is great. Almost everyone came out of their house to shake hands and see our president,” Villar said.
In their separate speeches, Marcos and Duterte-Carpio acknowledged the people of Las Piñas for their warm welcome.
“The support you showed us was a different kind of support. Earlier, while we were in the caravan, I could feel your love. We could hardly move the car we were riding in because there were so many people, so thank you very much for your warm welcome,” Marcos said.
