Thousands of Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos. Jr. and Davao Mayor Sara Duterte supporters on Sunday showed strength by staging what they described as the caravan for peace, unity and progress in more than dozens of cities and provinces all over the country.

The simultaneous BBM-Sara Uniteam cavalcade started as early as 8 a.m. in more than 30 cities and 15 provinces in Mindanao, Bicol Region, Calabarzon, Abra, certain provinces in Northern Luzon, and Metro Manila.

The series of caravans, which was attended by the two candidates in Davao Del Norte, was the first since they separately announced their candidacy.

Both aspirants led their supporters in a massive show of force in Carmen and Tagum City with the numbers swelling to more than 10,000 participants, practically turning the streets into a sea of red and green.

For the first time, the tandem addressed their supporters together and thanked them “for their support in our effort to rise again.”

Marcos Jr. and Inday Sara also led the oath-taking of new officials and candidates of the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP), followed by the blessing and opening of the PFP headquarters in Tagum City.

Thousands also joined the caravan in Ilocos Norte and Ilocos Sur, further fortifying the “Solid North” that have been traditionally behind the Marcos family.

Residents of Isabela at least 15,000 supporters trooped to the streets in Abra behind Abra Rep. JB Bernos and other local officials. Pangasinan, Nueva Ecija, and Bataan also had “unity rides.”

Thousands also joined the caravans in Bicol Region, Cavite, Batangas, Quezon and Laguna.

In Metro Manila, supporters from Parañaque, Quezon City, Caloocan, Pasay, and Manila held their own cavalcades, while a group of bikers organized a clean-up drive in Manila Bay along the Mall of Asia in Pasay City.

“Unity Riders” from Visayas and Mindanao also took to the streets in Bacolod, Aklan, and Cagayan de Oro, where at least 10, 000 individuals registered.

THE BBM-Sara Uniteam also on Sunday kicked off its first caravan in Mindanao.

Marcos, standard-bearer of the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas and Duterte, vice presidential aspirant of Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats, made their first public appearance together by physically joining thousands of their supporters in the longest motorcade in Davao del Norte with House Majority Leader and Leyte 1st District Rep. Martin Romualdez, Ilocos Norte congressional bet Sandro Marcos and other key political allies in Mindanao.

“It’s great to see the overwhelming support of the people, mostly volunteer riders who joined the longest caravan in Mindanao so far for the BBM-Sara Uniteam. We express our gratitude for extending their support to BBM and Mayor Sara, our Lakas-CMD chairperson. Let’s continue to unite and foster positive relationships for the common good of our country,” Romualdez, the Lakas-CMD president, said.

Thousands of vehicles, mostly on motorcycles, met at the starting point at Barangay Guadalupe in Carmen, Davao del Norte to voluntarily participate in the caravan for the BBM-Sara tandem.

Marcos, who was joined by Duterte, delivered his “Uniteam” message at the Cuntapay Compound, Lapu-Lapu Street in Tagum City immediately after the motorcade.
