Senatorial candidate Bongbong Marcos on Tuesday vowed to push for more infrastructure and agricultural development in Mindanao.
Bongbong met with several social and civic leaders from the south at the Makati Golf Club to discuss his plans for legislation concerning the Muslim region.
“We will have more economic activities in Mindanao by having better infrastructure and more food to export,” said Bongbong. “The irrigation and farm-to-market roads there need an upgrade.”
He also noted the needs of Mindanao for more school buildings and power-generating facilities while giving emphasis to the latter.
“Power crisis is paralyzing the economy. We should find ways to generate more energy to have a sustained growth in the economy.”
