BBM’s 62.17 % miles ahead of rivals in latest Kalye Survey results; Isko, Leni fight for distant second

1 February 2022

PRESIDENTIAL aspirant Ferdinand ‘Bongbong” Marcos further firmly established his complete domination over all his rivals for the May presidential elections, after garnering a whopping 62.17 percent preference votes in the latest Kalye Survey results conducted by Splat Communications with 112,742 respondents nationwide as of January 26.

Splat Communication released the results on January 27 and said the survey was conducted in all regions during which Marcos emerged as the run-away winner in 16 of the total 17 regions of the country.

Described by Splat Communications as nightmare inducing for his rivals, the results showed Marcos garnering a total of 70,088 preference votes or 62.17 percent followed by Leni Robredo who came out second, with 10,936 or 9.70 percent.

Isko Moreno placed third with 8,418 or 7.47 percent while Manny Pacquiao got 7,048 or 6.25 percent followed by Panfilo Lacson with 2,572 or 2.28 percent.

The undecided was at 12.13 percent.

“The percentage of (those voting for) Bongbong Marcos is nightmare-inducing for all the other presidentiables at 62.17 percent,” Splat Communication said in assessing the results.

Marcos was the runaway winner in all the regions except Bicol, consistently pulling away from the other contenders with miles-wide margins.

He got the highest votes, with more than 80 percent, in the Cordillera Administrative Region, Ilocos Region, and Cagayan Valley; while the second-placers in these regions got less than five percent.

In the Bicol Region, Robredo snagged first place with 46.25 percent of the Bicol respondents saying they will vote for her.

Marcos came out second with 1,754 or 24.90 percent.

“Considering that he placed first with 85.81 percent in Ilocos while Robredo was second with 4.22 percent, it would be noted that Marcos did not do too badly in Bicol either,” Splat said.

There were several regions in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao where Robredo, Moreno, and Pacquiao played musical chairs for the second place.

The results elated supporters of Marcos and his running mate Davao Mayor Sara Duterte, who posted comments on the post.

“Solid BBM-SARA tandem.

“The percentage of Bongbong Marcos is nightmare-inducing for all the other presidentiables at 62.17 percent. A very far second is VP Robredo with a measly 9.70 percent. Third is Mayor Isko with 7.47 percent. Fourth is Sen. Manny, followed by Sen. Ping…,” anang voice-over sa YouTube.
