MANILA, Philippines - Senator Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. on Tuesday denied that his family has agreed to Vice President Jejomar Binay's proposal that his father, the late former President Ferdinand Marcos, be buried in Ilocos Norte.
In an interview, Marcos said his family has yet to receive an offer from the Palace.
President Benigno Aquino III earlier asked Binay to review a proposal to bury Marcos in the Libingan ng mga Bayani.
Various sectors have opposed a hero's burial for the late strongman.
